More random blathering

Well, I am in a different frame of mind from last year. The non-profit agency I work for just terminated the employment of a 21 year employee, no warning to her (or us) whatsoever. Just walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and said, basically, great work the last 2 decades, but, gee, we just can't afford you anymore. She is my friend of the last 19 years, and my Supervisor most of the last 5 years or so.

So I am bitter at my bosses, untrusting for sure. We serve the homeless, the jobless, the disadvantaged and forgotten. What a way to treat one of their own!
